Turkish Double Bassist Daniil Margulis is the joint 1st prize winner of the 2nd International Double Bass Competition of Belgium as well as 2nd prize winner at the Huddersfield “Mrs Sunderland” Festival Young Soloist of the Year competition. Daniil made his concerto debut with Stringendo Ensemble under the baton of Pascale Van Os at the Alden Biesen Castle in Belgium in 2024 as well as an appearance in Wigmore Hall.

Recent orchestral performances include with the Orchestra of the English National Opera, Royal Northern Sinfonia and Orpheus Sinfonia.

He has performed in Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Montenegro and Bosnia as well as Turkey and UK.
