Liederabend: Merry Evenings in our house

Come join the LiedFest Berlin-Oxford and the Modern Song Collective at Kühlhaus Berlin for an enchanting evening celebrating the music and life of James Joyce: the songs and arias he sang and others he loved to listen to; from Renaissance lute songs to popular French Boulevard songs and English Music Hall, from operetta to Italian folksongs, from Grand Opera to Gilbert & Sullivan as well as the traditional Irish melodies of his homeland. Included is a song Joyce himself composed to his own poem Bid Adieu to Girlish Days.
