THE REAL MCKENZIES:

Founded in 1992 by the larger than life, Scottish punk-rock poet laureate, Mr Paul McKenzie, this merry band of miscreants have spent more than a quarter century circumnavigating the globe to
bring the McKenzies gospel to an ever-expanding throng of rebels, scallywags and ne’er do wells. There’s not many bands that can boast of an over 30-year career as staggeringly adventurous, wildly tempestuous and utterly death-defying as The Real McKenzies

CHELSEA:

Chelsea wurde 1976 von Frontmann Gene October gegründet. Als Vorreiter der Punkbewegung wurde 1977 ihre Debütsingle „Right To Work“ veröffentlicht, die die Aufmerksamkeit der Musikpresse erregte. Gene October war für die Gründung des Roxy Club in Soho verantwortlich, in dem viele der frühen Punkbands zu spielen begannen, und Chelsea begann, neben Leuten wie The Clash, The Damned, The Police und Sham 69 zu spielen. Chelsea war in Derrek Jarmans Punkfilm „Jubilee“ zu sehen und trat auch bei zwei John Peel-Sessions und dem Old Grey Whistle Test bei der BBC auf, um ihr gleichnamiges erstes Album zu promoten.

Who would have thought that Melbourne’s favourite two-piece garage-trash band Digger & The Pussycats would take Sam and Andy to all corners of the globe across four continents. With a back catalogue brimming with five albums, eight 7”s, a 10” and an EP, #DiggerandthePussycats return with two new 7” singles. Not bad for a couple of thirty something fellas from Australia
