Internationally-renowned Ukrainian a cappello sextet, ManSound, is bringing its spirited vocal versatility to Suisse Romande. They will perform the music that has seen them so widely acclaimed at jazz concerts in the United States, and across Europe.

Their repertoire consists of a unique blend of well-loved Christmas songs and rare Slavic folk songs, gospel, and the jazz standards which they perform with original arrangements. George Benson, George Gershwin and Stevie Wonder are just a few of the familiar composer/songwriters featured in their work.

ManSound has taken part in more than 50 jazz festivals, performed three times at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival in the United States, and in over 25 countries. The All American Entertainment Awards nominated ManSound as best vocal group in 2001. In 2002 ManSound won the First Prize at the international competition for a cappella groups Vokal Total.

In 2004 the Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA) awarded them Best Vocal Performance in the world in the jazz category.
